France is sophisticated at every level, including the arts, architecture, Michelin-star cuisine and excellent wine. It has remote, off-the-beaten-path areas despite being the number one tourist destination in Europe. Experiencing it means strolling along the docks in Paris, running through the lavender fields of Provence, shopping at Christmas market in Strasbourg, or looking glam on a beach on the French Riviera.
Medieval Carcassonne
Relive the past with a walk on the ramparts in the largest fortified city in Europe.
The Pink Granite Coast
Leave the crowds behind with a drive along the rugged coast in this remote part of Brittany.
Dordogne River cruise
Be amazed by the beauty of Dordogne and its wonderful villages with a scenic boat trip.

Day 1: Sipping champagne on the Seine
Begin your journey in Paris with a romantic cruise on the Seine River gliding by the most
spectacular sights between the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral as you sip a glass of
Champagne.
Day 2: Getting lost in the Louvre
Discover the artistic treasures of the Louvre Museum through the collections of ancient,
medieval and modern art encompassing circa 35,000 of works, among which the Mona Lisa,
Venus de Milo and The Raft of the Medusa. Next to the museum find the elegant Palais-Royal
with its 260 striped octagonal columns and the royal Tuileries Gardens adorned with statues by
Rodin and other famous artists.
Day 3: A day in Montmartre
Take a walk through the cobblestone streets of the Montmartre, the charming village within the
city and the set of many romantic movies. Its historic windmills and white-washed Sacré Coeur
Basilica tower over the artists’ square, cool cafés, artisan pastry and chocolate shops, chic
boutiques and a hidden vineyard.
Day 4: Chateaux of the Loire Valley
Transfer to the Loire Valley to discover the finest Renaissance chateaux of all France. Stroll the French gardens at Chateau de Chenonceau built directly above the Cher River. Nicknamed ‘le château des Dames’ the palace illustrates the refined taste of its women residents. Learn about the fascinating history of the monarchy at the Royal Chateau of Amboise. After the visit of the royal lodgings take a look at the tomb of the Leonardo da Vinci inside Saint-Hubert Chapel.
Day 5: A birds-eye view of the Loire Valley
Enjoy the spectacular views of the castles with a hot air balloon ride above the Loire Valley, no better way to take in the sights and understand the scale of the buildings. Take part in the traditional balloonist landing toast, followed by a wine tasting picnic. At night attend a mesmerizing sound and light show at the Royal Chateau of Blois.
Day 6: The Popes' Palace of Avignon
Travel to the south of France to discover the magnificent walled town of Avignon home to the imposing Popes’ Palace. Seven popes ruled from Avignon rather than Rome during the 1300s, giving rise to a significant architectural heritage and considerably improving the viticultural practices in the region. A wine tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape attests to that.
Day 7: Country markets in Provence
Explore the Provencal countryside and its most beautiful villages nestled in the Luberon. Mingle with the locals and taste artisan products at a weekly market, browse the antiques shops in Isle-sur-Sorgue, be amazed by the stone buildings in Gordes and marvel at the unusual ochre cliffs in Roussillon, one of the most amazing places in all of France.
Day 8: Reds and Rosés of Rhone
Taste some of the best Rhone style wines in Chateauneuf du Pape famous for its complex reds and in the Tavel region where the best rosés come from, as you learn about the particulars of the local wine production. Visit a local goat cheese producer and shop for artisan chocolate, the perfect gift for the loved ones back home.
